CARBIDE INSERTED BLADES – FOR BLACK ICED ROADS

Olofsfors carbide inserted blades for plowing slush and compact snow are designed to resist fracture and wear damage. Due to the thickness of the blade the cutting effect is less but the thick cutting surface and the brazed carbide give the blade a very long life span. The carbide inserted blades consist essentially of ordinary steel in which carbide bits have been bazed into it which makes them harder than the hardest wear steel.
